It makes an ideal choice for use in hydraulic pressure applications and where high pressures and abrasion are present. Polyurethane provides resistance to high pressures, abrasion, ozone, petroleum fluids and solvents, with the exception of ketones. Not for use with acids, alkalies, brake fluids and hot water.|Round cross-section shapes can be used in both static and dynamic applications. They are used as a mechanical seal or gasket and are seated in a groove and compressed during assembly between two or more parts.
