Cast Iron is a heavy material that is malleable and extremely strong.
Drill press vises with a horizontal orientation are ground on the base only, for horizontal workholding.
Standard spindle operations feature a continuous nut design for consistent jaw movement.
Stationary or fixed vises are used for machining straight surfaces. They can be fastened to the machine at either a parallel or at a right angle.
